The Perfect Refresher for Your Summer Gatherings

There are a few things I love more than a black-and-white striped shirt: finding pockets in every piece of clothing I own and this peach sangria recipe.
It’s the drink I make when it’s 90+ degrees but I still want to look like I'm gracefully glistening versus melting. All you need are 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to mix up something that's fresh, effervescent, and just the right amount of sweet.
Peach Sangria with Basil + Sparkling Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe peaches (can be white or yellow)
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1 bottle of rosé
- 1 bottle of sparkling lemonade
How to Make It:
- Peel the peaches (or don’t) and slice them into ½-inch thick pieces.
- Toss the peaches and basil into a large pitcher and mix everything with a wooden spoon.
- Pour in the bottle of rosé.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Pour the mixture in ice-filled glasses, add a splash of sparkling lemonade.
- See below for NA version.
I make this for easy gatherings, early evenings on the porch, and anytime someone says, “Let’s do something light.”
Also, it’s surprisingly good without alcohol. Skip the rosé and double up on the lemonade, add a splash of peach juice or even sparkling water, and you’ve got an equally delicious mocktail.
Now your turn.
What are you drinking this summer—cocktail, mocktail, or something in between? Send me a message. I’m always looking for new ways to impress with minimum effort. Cheers!
