As we celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, we are once again reminded about how amazing it is to be female leaders in a society where we can champion gender equality and, as this year’s theme beautifully describes, embrace equity.
Being a female business owner has taught me many things—including supporting notable women in my circle who have made an important impact not only in my business but have also inspired me personally.
So, without further ado, I introduce you to 5 incredible women entrepreneurs that I’ve been lucky enough to work with and who inspire me on the daily.
Bridget Brown
Business Consultant, The Advisory Guild
I have to give credit where credit is due. Bridget has been my trusted guide through the wild world of entrepreneurship. From founding the Bella Bridesmaids franchise, to launching a vegan handbag line, and now teaching other entrepreneurs how to grow their businesses, she's simply incredible!
Victoria Nyadjroh
Brand Strategist and Web Designer, V&Co
Victoria understood my vision of a women’s sustainable fashion brand and designed a site that represents my business values and me as a female entrepreneur—a digital platform that resonates and inspires. Her empathetic approach to building brand awareness always leaves me in awe of her incredible talent.
Michelle Le Cras
Owner, Email Marketing Agency, Pink Guava Marketing
Without the amazing help of Michelle, my email marketing game would be nonexistent. She's a powerhouse when it comes to crafting effective strategies and providing valuable insights that make it easy to connect with customers and grow my business.
Karissa Newby
Bookkeeper and Founder, Wag & Wonder
Keeping track of finances can be a real headache, but with Karissa on my side, it's been a game-changer. Her expertise in bookkeeping is unparalleled, and I'm lucky to have her on my team as both a trusted collaborator and fellow small business owner.
Mellani DeJesus
Brand Identity Designer, Mellani DeJesus
Mellani has a unique talent for uncovering the true DNA of a brand. From our LR logo design to brand messaging, her thoughtful and thorough approach has been invaluable in helping me create a visual brand identity that truly reflects my business and values. And her commitment to supporting female-founded businesses is just the icing on the cake.
