Imagine being holed up at home… isolated and craving comfort. Oh, wait. That’s what we’re all doing; we don’t have to imagine those feelings at all.

At the beginning of 2020, my spring collection was inspired by a mid-afternoon stroll through Jaipur… a city full of old-world charm, colorful markets, and chaotic streets. It was impossible not to be inspired!

Needless to say, I had to find inspiration elsewhere this year and travel wasn’t an option. I had to look no further than right in the comfort of my own home. 

We all know it has been a tumultuous year. We have been forced to slow down and change directions – multiple times! Not only are we housebound and seeking comfort, but the events of 2020 have given many of us a new perspective. It has renewed mindsets on just about everything.

More than ever, we view our time as precious. Most of us are focusing mainly on our home, health, and relationships, and our approach to dressing and fashion has changed considerably. If wardrobe updates are in order, the priority is comfort.

At Lacson Ravello, we see this as an opportunity to return to the drawing board. It’s the perfect time to press the reset button and embrace this new normal. We are back to business… as UNusual.

Heathers in mocha brown and charcoal grey are grounding and evoke a sense of calm and peace. Ivory and vanilla bring a little lightness. Regardless of what you want to feel, these pieces are sure to bring up the right emotions.

The fabrics are insanely soft and warm. We’re introducing our bamboo and cotton fleece blend that feels substantial, yet lightweight. These choices lean into the Lacson Ravello mission to produce sustainable fashion. The blend is certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, and our dottie knit (for a hit of some texture and fun!) is from deadstock fabric.
