When Ifen set out to design slippers, she wasn’t thinking about starting a business—she was thinking about her kids.
As a mom keeping a shoe-free home while her little ones were crawling around, she searched everywhere for slippers that looked polished yet felt truly comfortable. Everything she found was either clunky, unattractive, or had to be tossed once they got dirty. Frustrated by the waste and embarrassed to be caught in those slippers when guests stopped by, she decided to find a better way—and created her own.

From Corporate Career to Creative Calling
Before launching Luvons, Ifen spent years in marketing, management consulting, and financial services. When her children left for college, she finally had time to explore something more personal—a project that reflected her lifestyle and values.
Leaving the corporate world for footwear design was a leap of faith, but she approached it with care and curiosity. She conducted research with hundreds of women, tested countless pairs of slippers, and confirmed what many already knew: most were unattractive, lacked support, or felt disposable.
Partnering with an expert footwear designer, she developed slippers that deliver everything women wanted—style, structure, arch support, Ortholite® memory foam comfort, durable soles, and easy washability.
