In today's LR Community series we’re featuring Mary Ann van Westbroek: repeat LR customer, Bay Area style influencer, pug (and newly human) mom!

Mary Ann and I met through her style blog Style Approximately…which focuses on promoting sustainable and ethical practices through fashion, lifestyle, and travel. The blog also serves to uplift and celebrate local and small businesses especially ones run by women of color and BIPOC (Black Indigenous, People of Color). So as you can see, there’s a lot to love about Mary Ann!

As a new mom, we love seeing how Mary Ann styled her Analu dress for comfort and function. She always puts a unique spin and her own personal touch on our pieces which to me is the epitome of the LR customer.

The Analu Dress!

How would you wear it?

I love how I can wear it in different ways depending on the weather and, more importantly, my mood. I’ve worn it as a dress for zoom calls to look put together and still feel comfortable. I’ve also worn it open like a duster sweater paired with overalls or jeans.

Where would you wear it?

I wear it when going out on morning coffee dates with my husband and son. I’ve worn it to First Fridays in San Jose. I also wear it to work for those long Zoom calls when I need to look put together but I also want to be really comfortable.
