HIGH STYLE: This is fashion in its purest form – 20th century haute couture from the Brooklyn Museum Costume Collection, on exhibit at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor. It’s such a treat to see works by Madame Vionnet, Elsa Schiaparelli, and Charles James up close. Not only was it a beautiful display of silhouettes, lines, and fabric manipulation but also a study on how history and society was reflected in our clothing. Go see this wonderful collection of 20th century fashion soon! Exhibit ends July 19th.
